Keeping Up With The Kardashians Star Kylie Jenner Shows Patriotic Side In American Flag Shorts

As the youngest sibling in the Kardashian clan is clearly eager to carve out a style all of her own.
Kylie Jenner proved she is developing her own unique sense of fashion - indeed, a patriotic one - as she celebrated Independence Day in Calabasas, California yesterday.
The 13-year-old rocked a pair of cut off denim shorts with the American flag stitched onto the front as she joined her friends to celebrate.

Fashion victim: The youngest of the Kardashian clan certainly has her won sense of style

She paired the shorts with a simple white tank, black bovver boots and festive red heart-shaped sunglasses as she lounged on the grass at a local park with friends.
The reality TV star also spent time taking photographs and chatting with her girlfriends as the group waited for a fireworks display to start.

 

Kylie, who is the baby sister of Kim, Kourtney and Khloe Kardashian, obviously has more of a rock-chic edge to her fashion sense than her chic older sisters.

Kylie, and big sister Kendall, 16, are both set to be bridesmaids at the wedding of Kim Kardashian when she marries Kris Humphries later this summer.
Just last week Kim was spotted visiting the Vera Wang boutiques in both New York and Los Angeles as she made preparations for her big day.
Vera Wang is thought to be designing her wedding gown and possibly her bridesmaids dresses.

But while Kylie relaxed close to home over the holiday weekend her family were all apart for the holiday.
Kim was thousands of miles away visiting with her fiancé's family in Minnesota.
Kim, 30 and Kris, 26, spent time playing on jet skis and relaxing aboard a speed boat on the lake Minnetonka with her future in-laws.
Kourtney, 32, meanwhile, spent the holiday with boyfriend Scott Disick and his family in The Hamptons while Khloe and husband Lamar Odom were at home in Los Angeles.
