Kim Kardashian the Nail Salon In Beverly Hills 30/3

Stepping out for a bit of morning pampering, Kim Kardashian hit up the local salon in Beverly Hills, CA on Wednesday morning (March 30).
Clad in curve-hugging Nike spandex pants and a comfortable top, the E! reality star plopped down in her chair as a staffer delved into a mani/pedi treatment.

Scott Disick, style icon, says American style is “childish”

scott1
I had the chance to read Scott Disick’s Men’s Fitness interview. He’s on the cover in a t-shirt, thankfully, and never bares his chicken chest inside. The story is thin and superficial, just like Scott, and contains his deep as a puddle explanations for why he’s always dressed up like a real life stock character version of Richie Rich. It’s all about Scott being more “mature” than the rest of us peons who want to feel comfortable and occasionally wear our workout gear outside the gym. You can picture him sneering while he says this.
His personal style is as classic as the vintage Jaguar he drives around the streets of Manhattan. “I dress more mature than most,” he says, unapologetically. In fact, he seems unnerved by young America’s sartorial nonchalance and love of casual clothing (”it looks rather un-put together and childish.”) Disick strives for a more “elegant” (yes, his word), confidence boosting appearance. And much to the chagrin of a lot of his haters, he achieves it.
“There’s not much to say about a guy who walks into a room wearing a brand-new T-Shirt,” he says, “but there’s definitely something to compliment about a guy who walks in with a beautiful collared shirt with French cuffs and a perfectly tailored sports coat.”
[From Men's Fitness, print edition, May, 2011]
Like the Kardashians, who will market just about anything they can slap their name on, Scott is about to become a whole lot more ubiquitous. He’s putting out a line of skin care products, a fashion line, his own brand of hair product, a line of supplements and his “own tanning product called Monte Carlo.” Kourtney must be sick of paying for Scott’s cars and his tailored Tom Ford suits. That QuickTrim money only goes so far. I’m surprised he doesn’t have a cologne out. He could call it Spring’s Twilight.

Kris Jenner gets bitchy: My girls Have Multiple Shows, How Many Do You Have?

redbook1
Kris Jenner and her three oldest daughters are on the cover of Redbook magazine. In the accompanying interview, Kris makes a bunch of snotty comments trying to refute the criticism about her family: that they don’t work and that they have no talent. She gets indignant about it, forgets the number of hours in a day and then acts like her “girls” are better than the rest of us who either chose not to get bikini waxes and Botox on camera or just haven’t had the opportunity.
Make no mistake: The Kardashians didn’t earn

$65 million last year by sitting on their famous derrieres.
PHOTOS: Kim’s best booty moments
“It’s annoying when I hear, ‘What do your girls do?’ Well, first of all, all of my daughters have jobs. They are fashion stylists and designers; they own a chain of stores. They had the stores before they had the show,” matriarch Kris Jenner, 55, tells the May issue of Redbook. “And my kids worked from the time they were 13 years old. So to me, that’s a huge misconception that the girls don’t work. They work 25 hours a day.”
As for criticism that her famous daughters lack any talent? “They might not be singers or dancers, but they certainly know how to produce a television show,” Jenner says. “Whether you want to call it talent or not, they have multiple shows on the air. How many shows do you have?”
Part of their family’s appeal, Khloe notes, is that they aren’t afraid to be themselves.
“We are a real family. We don’t sugarcoat anything. We’re not the Brady Bunch, but we always put each other first,” Khloe Kardashian, 26, says. “We love each other on camera, we cry on camera. I think people relate to the realness of it.”
Kim Kardashian, 30, insists there isn’t much to hide anyway. “There’s nothing I’m really ashamed of, and I work hard on the show and all my other projects,” she tells the mag. “I don’t drink or do drugs, so I’m comfortable showing the world what my life is all about.”
Despite their individual struggles — Khloe’s pressure to have a baby, Kourtney Kardashian’s rocky relationship with Scott Disick, and Kim’s struggle with plastic surgery rumors — Kris insists her family is stronger than ever.
“Our joy in life is that we always have each other,” she says. “So I’ve tried to teach my kids three things: love God, love your family and love yourself.”

[From US Weekly]
It was surprising to me to read that Kris Jenner tells her kids to love God because I don’t remember hearing that the Kardashians are particularly religious. I googled “Kardashians church” and was reminded of this story about how Kim gives 10% of her salary to a church that Kris founded. So when Kris teaches her kids to revere God she’s also teaching them to give even more of their earnings to her tax shelter.
Now we know what Kris Jenner thinks of any of her family’s fans that dare question them - they’re not rich and famous so they’re not qualified to ask what it is they do exactly. We’re just peons buying the crap that her daughters work “25 hours a day” to stick their name on. Everyone who doesn’t like them is just jealous, right?

Khloe Kardashian On The Cover Of Cosmo: Lookin FAB!

cosmo1
Oh. My. GOD. Look at what they did to my favorite Kardashian!!! This is the new cover of “Cosmopolitan: Middle East” (which I didn’t know existed), with what amounts to a drawing of Khloe Kardashian on the cover. Well, I think that’s actually Khloe’s face, but that is surely not her body. I have three theories: A) they put Khloe’s head on someone else’s body, or B) that’s really Khloe’s body, but the Photoshop fairies went overboard or C) they pasted Khloe’s head onto a drawing of some chick’s body. You choose.
Here are some highlights from the Cosmo interview (you can read scans of the whole thing here, at Khloe’s Celebuzz site):
On the toughest part of being a Kardashian: “Dealing with the Kardashian body image… Kim and Kourtney have said to me, ‘If we were put under the same negative attention that you are, we couldn’t handle it.’ If I want to wear a long flowing dress, someone will say I’m pregnant. I believe we’re not given any more than we can handle and most of the time I can handle it. But we all have fat days and if I’m having one of those days, those sorts of things make me feel down.”
Supporting curvy girls: “Girls tell me and my sisters, ‘We love your booties,’ Khloe reveals. “Just yesterday a really thin stylist said to me, ‘I wish I had your booty. I don’t have one.’” Even her sister Kim has insecurities, Khloe adds, which surprises her. “Kim, who I think is flawless, is always complaining. She complains about cellulite and I tell her, ‘I’ll trade your cellulite for my love handles.’”
[From Cosmo, via HuffPo]
Meanwhile, Khloe has given a new round of interviews about how she is NOT pregnant. She gave an “exclusive” to Life & Style (she shares the cover this week with Kim Zolciak and Britney Spears) about how she is “feeling lots of pressure” about getting pregnant. She tells the mag: “I feel like I’m letting people down. My mom literally calls me daily to ask when my period is supposed to be. I’m not desperate to have a baby right now, but if I got pregnant tomorrow I’d be over the moon excited.”
Meanwhile, she talked about her lack of beh-behs again to People Magazine earlier this week. She tells them, “I’m not desperate to have a baby. Do I want children? Yes. But I’m very happy being just Lamar and I. I think a baby would add so much to us, but right now, I’m so content and so happy with the way things are. People think I would sell my hair to have a child. We feel like we’re young and whatever is meant to happen is meant to happen. I’m healthy, I know I can have children. He can have children. It’s like we’re not doing anything to stop it, but I don’t have like an ovulation calendar and all that. Trying to get pregnant is hard. People don’t seem to realize that you only have three days out of the month to get pregnant. And if you miss those three days, you have to wait for the next month. If I don’t get pregnant in a few years, then we’ll call the doctor and figure out what happened.”
Sigh… okay, enough of Phantom Bump Watch. Khloe will get pregnant and tell us about it when she’s ready.

'You lied to me!'

'You lied to me!': Kim Kardashian gets screamed at by her mother Kris Jenner for attending an event she did not approve of

Kim Kardashian has recently turned 30-years-old and has all the wealth and privilege born from her growing empire.
But it seems she still has to get permission from her mother, who is also her manager, as to what events she can or cannot attend.
In tonight's episode of Kourtney and Kim Take New York, the reality star gets into an argument with her mother Kris Jenner after stating that she wanted to attend an event being put on by her brother-in-law Scott Disick to launch his new product.

Kim tells her 'mom-ager' that she is planning on attending a red carpet event with her sister Kourtney's boyfriend and father of their child Mason.
But Kris objects causing a conflict between them when she suggests her second of six children doesn't go for fear she would inadvertently endorse the products at the event.
'You're a big girl and I get that', Kris told Kim. 'When it comes to products you only have so much PR to go around, Kim. You can't just be showing up on the red carpet every night promoting a different product.'

But Kim retorts: 'I'm allowed to go out and do whatever I want.'
She tries to defend going to Scott's event saying that he supports a lot of her endeavours and she wants to go.
But she eventually decides that her mother may be right despite much taunting from Kourtney and Scott that she is not in control of her on life.
'My mom is my manager and I love having her run my schedule and my life and she's really business savvy. So this is business and if it's going to ruin a product or anything I have I'll definitely stay out it'.
Peer pressure: Kourtney taunted Kim saying she just does whatever their mother says which leads to her younger sister going against Kris' will and attending Disick's event

But tempers flare when Kim changes her mind at the last minute and goes to Scott's event without telling Kris.
Obviously nothing can be kept a secret very long when they live their lives in the public eye and Kris sees photos of Kim online and goes crazy.
Kris barges into Kim and Kourtney's luxury New York apartment and accuses her daughter of not telling her the truth.

She screams at Kim: 'You lied to me!'
But Kim defends herself and says that she can make her own decisions as a grown woman.
Meanwhile, although Kourtney is rarely loss for words, when it came to her acting debut she got a bit tongue-tied.
The 31-year-old reality star fluffed her lines repeatedly during filming for her cameo appearance on ABC's One Life to Live - forcing the frustrated director to rebuke her for lack of preparation.
And all of her cringeworthy mishaps were captured on the E! show. She even resorted to getting acting advice from her brother Rob's ex-girlfriend Adrienne Bailon.
Kourtney can be seen wide-eyed, seemingly pleading for a life-line as the words elude her again and again.

'I just don't feel like kissing some random guy': Kourtney  Kardashian struggled through her first acting job o and was nervous about a romantic scene with her co-star
It's an excruciating sight, and one which perhaps proves suggestions that the Kardashians follow scripts on their shows are utterly without foundation.
When the director finally puts Kourtney out of her misery by shouting 'cut,' it's with a withering dictat: 'This is your time to study your lines.'
Kourtney defended herself by explaining: 'The second I get to the studio, I'm rushed straight to the stage.'
'I literally thought I'd have two lines and my script is so long.'

But that wasn't Kourtney's only difficulty when it came to dipping her impeccably pedicured toe into the world of method acting.

Happy families: Kourtney and partner Scott Disick, seen here with son Mason, one, in Beverly Hills last week, seem to have put their rocky past behind them
Fans of the raven-haired Kardashians and their various travails are well aware that Kourtney's relationship with the father of her one-year-old son Mason, Scott Disick, has been notoriously rocky.
Nevertheless, she remains relentlessly loyal - explaining that she was struggling to kiss another man, as required in the script. 'I'm not an actress,' she explained.
'I just don't feel like kissing some random guy, this is definitely a lot more than I thought I was agreeing to.'
She added after looking the unfortunate actor up on the internet: 'There's no way I could kiss that face.'
But then Kourtney and nightclub promoter Disick are enjoying a second flush of romance after averting what seemed like an unavoidable split.
Disick has been portrayed as a bad partner and father on Keeping Up With the Kardashians, in particular.

The popular series has shown him over-spending, drinking and generally being bad-tempered.
But the couple's move to New York, alongside Kim,30, cemented a new beginning, and the pair are said to be looking for a home in the area together.
'This is my city, I am thinking I can really improve myself there,' he revealed after the move.
They were recently pictured playing happy families in Beverly Hills, and although there was initially hostility from Kourtney's family to a reunion, they now have full support.
Kim and Kourtney Take New York airs Sunday on E!, her One Life to Live appearance is scheduled to be shown on Monday March 28, on ABC.
